S4 Ep. 14: Flying During COVID-19 | The Journey Home

Being caught in the middle of a global pandemic thousands of miles away from home can seem frightening. For many nomads, this was, and still is for some, a reality. Many have made the decision to go back to their “home countries, and some are just trying to find a flight that doesn’t get canceled. This is what it’s like flying during COVID-19.

In this week’s episode, we chat with Steve Busch, a photographer who is traveling the world. With a set schedule, Steve was doing business as usual until things started to get worse and worse. He then made the decision to attempt to fly back to the U.S. He tells us all about his journey flying during COVID-19.

Be sure to follow Steve and his photography on Instagram. We look forward to seeing where he jets off to once it’s safe to fly again!

Disclaimer: This episode isn’t to encourage travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. By no means are we saying it’s okay to travel for pleasure. This is a story of a nomad trying to fly back “home” and being in a place where one feels more secure. Flying during COVID-19 isn’t recommend.
