Looking for flight deals? Search for the best deals on Skyscanner. I love that you can choose to see the cheapest destinations based on a certain date or month. You can also find out which dates are cheapest to fly for a destination you have in mind. If you have the flexibility you can really save a lot on a flight. Don’t have data while traveling? Download the Maps.Me app, then download the destination or destinations you’ll be visiting while you have WiFi. You can mark locations of interest and get directions all without WiFi or data.

If you DO have data, then I suggest Citymapper because it also gives you real-time public transit information. It will even let you know which exit to use when leaving a metro station.
