Things to Do in Page Arizona
Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend is a beautiful spot that decently makes its rounds on Instagram. Itโs definitely worth checking out, snapping pics, and taking in the views. You may even see a boat or a raft on the Colorado River, or people camping below.
Youโll find Horseshoe Bend along Highway 89 between mileposts 544 and 545. Keep an eye out for the signs and you wonโt miss it. Thereโs a large parking lot but on the weekends expect cars to spill out onto the main highway. Itโs a short hike up from the lot to the bend. Itโs best to head there in the early morning as sunrise is stunning and youโll avoid the crowds. However, sunset is beautiful as well but also a very popular time.
If youโre not visiting in the early AM or for sunset please do bring plenty of water. The heat can be intense depending on the time of year. The summer months are also very crowded so be patient when snapping your photos and respectful to others around you. Also, please note that drones are not allowed in this area.
Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon is actually two separate canyons: Lower Antelope Canyon and Upper Antelope Canyon. They each have their own entrances and separate fees. Youโll be entering Navajo land and will need to pay a fee to do so and a fee to enter your canyon of choice. The tours are guided and youโll be told interesting facts as well as photography tips along the way.
Check out my blog post on everything you need to know about visiting Lower Antelope Canyon. I have now visited Lower Antelope Canyon twice and give you tips and helpful information to be prepared for your visit.
