S4 Ep. 18: COVID-19 Lockdown in Copenhagen

On today’s episode, we chat with Mikala Schaufuss, a Dane working and living in Copenhagen. Mikala tells us all about the lockdown in Copenhagen and what it was like living on a boat in the Caribbean when she heard the news. From closed borders, canceled flights she shares what’s going on in Denmark.

Mikala is a part-time wanderluster who can be found on the beaches of Bali, road tripping in the U.S., or jet setting across Europe. She loves music festivals, skateboarding, surfing, and is always looking for a new adventure. She works as a social worker in Copenhagen when she isn’t traveling. She shares with us what happened when news broke out that Denmark was closing its borders. Stuck on a boat wasn’t going to work out long term so she talks about the long journey home. Tune in for this special episode and an insider’s look into the lockdown and progress that Denmark has made.
